Regulation in Queensland

Seed sprout processing is currently regulated by Safe Food. Incoming legislation for the horticulture industry will soon introduce regulation to the berry, melon and leafy vegetable industries under three new primary production and processing standards. It's expected that these standards will take effect in Queensland from February 2025.
